On October 2nd 1927, in Croix des Bouquets a son was born from Justin Chery and Lesinca Casseus. For the first time saw the light or the sunshine of the world. While growing up, Jean Muller was a very quiet and soft spoken but also a rebellious child. He was the youngest and often said was spoiled. He did all of his studies in Port au Prince, Haiti. During his first year out of college in Haiti, he got involved in the Political Arena. It was common because the majority of his family were in Politics. During his Political life, he met many people and made many friends. He saw this life style was little congested for him and took exile to Jamaica. He spent 3 to 4 months living there. After those couple of months, he decided to visit the Bahamas and there he met JM Pinder and Loften Cooper. They became good friends. When Politics are in your blood you can’t hide from it. They introduced him to Bahamian politics and exchange his knowledge of Haitian politics.Boss Chery was a caring and understanding man. He also loves to travel and party. Shorty as often called by many, invested into the community, physically and naturally. He open a J.M.C. Mechanic shop in Pinders point and was well know, as the hangout spot back in the day. (For the Haitian community in Pinders Point) As he continued to build his life in the Bahamas, there he met a beautiful young lady by the name of Marlaine Bazile. He was astonished upon meeting young Marlaine because of her style, beauty, uniqueness, authenticity, and outgoing personality. Boss Chery was a man of respect and was loved by many. In 2007, Mr. Chery was diagnosis with Prostate Cancer. Death is not pleasant; sadness prevails over those who were associated with Mr. Chery. God was ready for his son to come home. He stopped seeing the sunshine that once gave him hope, dreams, enthusiasm and excitement. On May 21st 2011 at 2am. Mr. Chery took his trip home.
