Her Life
April 14, 2015

Jeannette "Jet" Mikel was born on October 02, 1943 in Nogales, Arizona the sister of Tommy Gardner, Lenny Gardner and Ronnie Harriman.  Parents Tommy and Trini Gardner.  Amazing Mother, Grammie, Aunt, daughter, sister, friend and person.

She attended Tucson High School and Lamson Business College. Married Robert Mikel had two daughters Kerstin Mikel Shoob and Elise Mikel Marcus.  They later divorced.  She has two granddaughters Alana Lise Shoob and Natasha Elle Shoob and two grandsons Devin James Marcus and Peyton Mikel Marcus.

She was an incredibly beautiful woman who worked very hard raising her two daughters with a career in the travel industry.  She worked at TWA, had her own travel agency, The Travel Broker in Tucson, Arizona, travel supervisor at Hughes Aircraft and later working at the Tucson Chamber of Commerce.  She was very active in the community and volunteered as well.

She always had a smile and a positive attitude sharing her love for others and towards life.  She loved her family and especially her grandchildren they were the apple of her eye.  Spending as much time as she could, playing, spoiling, and taking care of them.  She always put her family first. She enjoyed snow skiing, tennis, hiking, walking and the outdoors. She was the sweetest, caring, loving, most generous lady in the whole world.

She had a passion for travel and travelled all over the world.  She was very adventurous Heli skiing in Canada, sky diving, and cruising the Nile in Eygpt to name a few.  She had impeccable style in the way she dressed and decorating her home.

Kerstin and Elise wish to express their thanks to Brookdale Pinehurst Park and their wonderful caregivers.

Jet will be missed by many and will be in our hearts forever.
