Her Life

Jeannette will dearly be missed

October 28, 2016

It’s unbelievable that Jeannette Sandjong is no more!

Jeannette came to the US with a lot of determination to succeed, like most of us. Yes, she worked hard and even harder than some of us to meet her goals. Though she started her American odyssey as hair dresser, through her subsequent hard-work she eventually graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree as a nurse as well as a Registered Nurse (RN).

A very humble, caring and gregarious woman, as most of you who met her would testify. She would light up the room with her charm and wit. She fought the good fight with plenty of grace for the last couple of years, but the almighty decided otherwise. She left this world at 50, as she was not able to win the battle with a very aggressive lung cancer.

Jeannette leaves behind plenty of loving nephews, nieces and younger siblings, who were all her dependents. Her caring spirit, generosity and dynamism was boundless. We are at a loss trying to accept the passing of "Madame Kotinbanga" (as some affectionately named her).

Jeannette was a believer in Christ Jesus. To God be the Glory.
