His Life

In the beginning 1

September 6, 2014

Jed was determined to come to this realm when he wanted. My doctor had told me to wait a few months after going off the pill, but the first chance he got, his soul jumped in and started to grow. And he wanted to be big,  be noticed, and cherished. At 9#4ozs he arrived accomplishing all 3, although I don't think he ever fully understood how cherished by so many people he was and continues to be.  He was a charmer and a lover from the beginning.  Strangers would stop and comment on how adorable he was. He made friends in pre-school that still remember him as I've heard from several on Facebook that saw posts about him.  Being the baby of the family was literal in all senses.  And he was, and still is, a mama's boy.  We had our times where he hated me and would tell me, but I know it was not my little boy (or adult son) saying those things, it's was the alcohol or drugs.  There were times I'd feel so much anger to him I could have called it hate but I never did as I knew it wasn't real, just a temporary phase. He kept bad things from me to protect me, then would shock me with horror stories of stuff he'd done.  He definitely kept people on their toes, and never a dull moment to be had around that boy!  I'm so grateful and blessed that we shared the last 3 days he had on Earth, together talking, laughing, sharing, forgiving, soul baring, secret telling, mom and son unreplaceable time that is the only thing that kept my sanity during these last 7 months.

Jed On!!

March 16, 2014

Jed always did do it his way, from being born until his last breath.  I hope everyone will share their stories, their pictures and music to tell Jed's story.

A huge piece of my heart died 2/17/14 with you Jed.  But I know you'll be with me always.

I love you and miss you so much.

"dear Mama"
