Adam's Life

June 24, 2012

Adam was born in Charleston on August 18, 1989; he weighed 9lbs 12ozs and was 23 1/2 inches long.  He was the most beautiful baby boy I had ever seen.  He had blond curly hair and hazel eyes and a smile that would light up the room.  He was our little peanut.  He loved to play with his brother Will, they did everything together.

It wasn't long before he discovered sports and wanted to play every sport, every season...I was hoping he would at least play video games once in a while,  but he wasn't interested in that, he wanted to be outside playing.  He also loved to skateboard and surf and as usual was very good at that too.  He did everything he wanted to do and did it well.  Will followed in his footsteps playing all the sports with him and they were on a lot of the same teams together.  You wouldn't see Adam without Will most of the time.  They were very close and Adam was very protective of his little brother.

Adam was always such a kind, caring, loving son.  You couldn't ask for a better son or friend or brother.  I was so very blessed to have this wonderful creature in my life for as long as I did.  I am a better person for having been lucky enough to be his mother.

Adam truly loved all his friends in Sicily, he had the best times of his life with these friends.  I know how much he loved each and every one of them and missed them so much when we moved.  We missed you guys too.

Adam will always be the brightest star in the sky and will always give me the strength I need to keep looking up and feeling a connection to him.  I miss him so much that it is hard to go another day without him, but I know I will be with him soon and we can pick up where we left off.  I love you Jeffrey Adam Presnell, yesterday, today, tomorrow and always...but you are in my heart, every second of every day!
