You were taken away from us way too early. God must have needed your smile to greet those entering his kingdom. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." ~ Matthew 5:4

Jenni I will miss your beautiful smile and wonderful hugs! You were an amazing woman. You made me laugh so much. I read through your messages today to me and smiled - booger, dammit Susan, so many. My life is better having known you and I will never forget you!

Jenni, I keep thinking back to the hours and hours (and hours!) of time we spent together dancing in the Kennedy hallways (aka "our gym"), but even before then, I was lucky our names were close in the alphabet so we could be locker buddies for 6 years. Back in jr high I remember saving all of my NKOTB posters from Tiger Beat for you. :) You will be forever missed by many.

Jenni is so beautiful inside and out. She had an infectious smile that could melt your heart. I remember so many dance rehearsals in the hallways of Bloomington Kennedy. We would work so hard and drill everything to be perfect but Jenni always had a way of making each practice fun. She had such a big heart and I can't even put into words how much I and many others will miss her. :(

They say cousins are the first friends you make in life and I truly believe that. I am just heartsick that you are not here with us anymore. You were truly the peacekeeper and the shining light of our family. You taught me so much in my life I'm so grateful to have had you as my cousin but you were so much more, you were like a sister. Luv you! Xoxo

I will always wonder why GOD took you away from us far too soon my dear sweet niece? I will miss seeing your infectious smile, and the way you could warm up a room. I know in my heart you're now at peace, and with all my loved one's that passed before you. You will be alive forever in our thoughts. I will always think of you when I see your beautiful daughter Quinn smile! Love Aunt Jan

"God saw her getting tired and her cure was not to be, so he put his arms around her and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched as we saw her passing away. Although we loved her dearly we couldn't make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating fast, working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best!"
(In loving memory of my sweet cousin Jenni)

You've always been a great person. Thanks for being so friendly, positive & inspiring to me and the others around you! I'll remember stopping by JFK not too long ago. I found you coaching one of your Kolleens practices. It was great that you had your girls perform their routine for me. I was happy to catch up with you and laugh about our fun coaching experiences. RIP~ You will be missed! XO

Martin-IZING!

March 30, 2013

One summer Jenni talked me into working with her at One Hour Martinizing.

I am so glad I did.

We all know that Jenni loved to laugh, and embarrass
the crap out of you if she could.

Well she would pull up in my driveway (because she always had to pick me up) and LAY on the horn, stick her head out the window and scream:

"SARRRRRRRRRRRRRR-AH it's time for Mar-tin-IZINGGGGGGG"
in her absolute craziest, most spaztastic Jenni Buth voice.

My neighbors would all be peeking out their windows to see what that heck was going on. She would not stop until I was in the passenger seat, and then she'd laugh so hard and I would smack her on the shoulder.

It still makes me giggle to this day.
She loved to be silly, strange and sassy.
And I loved her for it.

She did it every time she picked me up that summer.
One of my favorite memories!!!!

Always a welcome smile

Jenni was just a unique person.  She was the first person who welcomed me to my new home in Bloomington, right across the street from her.  She made me feel welcomed, answered my million questions and we became friends in our own right. Over time her mother became one of my dearest friends.  They were both so supportive during a tough time in my life.

The world has lost a shining star but heaven has gained an angel.  She was much to young to leave us but has left behind a new shining star in her daughter Quinn.

We love you Jenni & will miss her smile, laughter & spirit.  May she rest in peace & all that knew her have an angel watching over them.
