DAD I REMEMBER

April 6, 2020
My dad was the best dad ever he would wake up every morning and go to work just to put food on the table. My dad made sure we were okay in he always made sure we smiled everyday . On days when my dad had real bad gout he still went to work. I remember waking up December/16/2011 when my dad was sitting on the couch ready for work he kissed me and my sister Desire Vasquez on the head. He told us he loved us and he would see us after school. When my sister and I got home from school are oldest sister in my moms best friend was sitting on the porch crying they walked up to us in told us to get in the van my moms best friend said do you want me to tell them. She didn't say anything we were almost at the hospital when we thought they said are grandma died so we started crying then when we got there they said are dad died , me and my sister yelled crying trying to run into the hospital and they would not let us go . All we wanted was to see are dad we miss him so much . I remember the day before he had died he had called his mom to ask her if she was coming for Christmas she said she had other plans my dad was sad and crying all he want was his mom for once in his life he never had his mom when he was little she wasn't and his life and he was in foster care. I miss my dad so much I wish I could have had more time with him he died 8 years ago when I was 8 this year it will be 9 years on December 16 2020 I think about him all the time and I wonder if he is looking down on us I love him I am happy I got to share some memories with all you people..
