Little Miss Jermiaya Shanta Giddens of Columbus passed away peacefully Monday at Midtown Medical Center. She was 5 years old.  

The Homegoing Celebration for Little Jermiaya will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 12 noon at Canaan Baptist Church with Bishop Ronald K. Harris officiating. 

Visitation is Friday, 3 til 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The cortege will depart from 4704 Wellborn Drive at 12:30 the day of the service.

My condolences to your family. The Bible aptly describes Death as "The Last Enemy." It rob's us of those we hold dear. Death was not part of God's original purpose for man. But God's Word tells us that dead loved ones will return to life. This is the resurrection hope for us all. Jehovah our Creator will swallow up death forever. While you suffer the loss of someone so dear, mediate on God's promise, where you will be able to find real hope and the strength to keep going.
