|To live in the hearts we leave behind means to never perish.|
This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Jeromee "Jerrie" Skehan. She was born on August 2, 1935, and she passed away suddenly on December 16, 2015, at the age of eighty.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many of all ages. She will be best remembered by her youthful spirit, generosity, thoughtfulness, and her sense of humor. She will be forever missed by all those who knew her, especially her children, grandchildren, and beloved dog.
At this time, a private memorial service is being planned, but all are welcome to leave a tribute, memory, or story below.
""Happy 81st Birthday, Mom!" -We miss you so much each and every day."
"Happy Birthday Jerri! Miss you..."
"Rest in Peace dear friend. Forever missed and always loved."
"May you rest in peace, mommy. The kids and I will visit you often. We each wrote you letters and placed them with you. We miss you!"
"I have know Jerri since grade school in Jenkintown. We have been friends ever since. We have stayed in touch over the years through class reunions and mutual friends. We shared a lot of laughs together over the years. She will be missed."
"It's only been a few days since I learned of Jerrie's passing. I can honestly say my heart is so very sad. Jerrie meant so much to me. I met Jerrie when I was a broken 18 year old girl and she saw me through so very much for 27 years. I will miss our talks and tea on Sunday mornings. Please continue to guide me Jerrie.....love you."
"Jerri, I love you and will always miss you."
"I was fortunate to have Jeromee as my cousin. Although we did not see each other very often I felt we were very close. That bond became even stronger during the time I spent with her this Fall. She was an inspiration, confidant and mentor to me. I will miss her and will cherish her memory."
"Jerrie was a great friend and a great lady. I will always remember her dedication to family and friends as an inspiration on how to be. I think of her often and will fondly remember and miss her always. Rest in peace dear friend and know how much you were loved."
"I miss you so much, Mom! Things just aren't the same without you. I really miss all of our daily phone calls, mother-daughter lunches, and the time we spent together with the kids. Jack, Luke, and I miss you everyday. Please watch over us from above. XOXO"
"Thank you so much! I will miss you so much."
