Jerri was born December 21, 1925 in San Antonio, Texas to William and Bertha Powell. She graduated from Edison High School when she was 16. She married Bob Polly in November of 1958 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. They moved with their three children to Huntsville, Alabama where both worked at Marshall Space Flight Center for NASA on the space program. She was the Administrative Assistant to the Program Manager for Vitro Services. The Polly's moved back to Texas in 1972 and became active members at Woodland West Church of Christ. They adopted their two youngest daughters in 1974. They now have nine...four great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren with another due September 20th.
