Remembering Jerry today and reflecting on the great impact he made on so many of us! He may be physically gone....but he remains so much a part of who we are! Thanks, Jerry, for all your encouragement along the way!

Another year, another Spring filled with your colorful peonies. They were lush and larger than ever before. The daffodils were all over the yard and the big purple iris are in full bloom.  We see them all and think of you. The studio is doing fine -- the girls are all making incredible art.  You left us with flowers and art and memories.  

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 5 years. It was Mother’s Day. Jerry, you will always hold a special place in my heart and in the hearts of my children and grandchildren. You were such a “kid” person! 

Five years later -- another Mother's Day. The sun is shining. Your peonies are in bloom. We all miss you -- love you.

We are thinking of you, Zayde! Each time we visit, a rainbow of warmth and colors welcomes us, especially from the art and garden you inspired. You are always with us. Love you always, the Gordon and Parla families

Thank you for all of the special times together, especially for Eren and Altan. They always looked forward to visiting and playing with their Zayde. You helped shape Eren and Altan into the wonderful people they are today. RIP

Dr. Sleph was a beautiful glass artist. I don't think he liked me very much, but his family is a big part of who I am. I never had met a Jewish family before and they took me into their home because of Pami. When i visited their home on Valley crest blvd. on the occasion of our 30th high school reunion, I was invited for shabat. I will always remember the beautiful glasswork he designed. Artists are angels that live amongst us to make our world a lovely place. RIP

I remember those times within the green house and fresh grown tomatoes for the picking and quiet lawn mowing jobs of whence I was younger and thinking of where the road shall lead Me . And those moments of quiet walks on the side walk with ones life long partner and low and behold there's Me sitting on the curb with a hammer , hammering this '' flat surface '' with an intensity to be asked a question and with an answer that disserved a truer meaning within all those words spoken and so the night falls for one last time as the road takes Me to other places and whence this day - this light will shine +
