This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Jim Day, 80 years old, born on September 11, 1934, and passed away on November 2, 2014. We will remember him forever.
Jim was a wonderful man. It has been 1 year and he is deeply missed. We think of all the great times we shared together. He is watching us so everyone behave.
Went skiing today in the stunning Colorado Rockies. I could feel your presence all around me, dad. Remember all those frigid upstate New York winter days when it was well below zero and you said it was a fine day for skiing. Turned out you were right. So,what if our toes were a little numb at the end of the day! I carry you withme in my heart, JR. I miss you so much
Have many happy memories of college, visits to Chicago area, visits to northern New York and visits to LaPlata....plus visits by Jim to Indy to go to 500 time trials, class reunions, and just "hanging out." We will miss his visits, calls and emails.
