Yep, Jim was a major hit in the late 60's with the Cortez High School choir --
My current wife (a.k.a. Debbie) was also at Cortez, singing in the choir, and recommend him for our "band" at the time (a.k.a. "The Reasons Why"), which in 1969/70, became "The Beaugart Band" -- p.s. I have a 7" reel recording of the group) -- The Doors were our cover -- miss his voice -- I couldn't sing like that -- but we did harmonize pretty good - jack

The years are going by quickly. It's hard to believe that next year, it will be 10 years since Jim's passing.   Oh how I wish he were still around.
