Jim was born Feb.15,1951 his parents John & Marion Potenti (deceased) Siblings- Johnny (deceased), Bobby (deceased), Janice Mahoney, Richard Potenti, and Maryann Bujnowski,

Married Dianne Fontaine on Oct. 22,1972 and dated for several years prior to marraige.
Jim and I had 4 Boys Shawn (deceased), Marc, Joel and Scot. had 4 wonderful grandchildren, Zach, Anthony, Alyssa and Gina, who he adored. Jim also love his animals, Kila (deceased) Tasha & Carlos.

Jim graduated from Doherty High School, and got his Bachelors Degreee in Psychology and went on to The United States Airforce Jim worked for 32 years for The Commonwealth Of Mass as a Contract Officer before he retired.

Jim was a long time member of Our Lady of Loreto Church, and the Pope John XX111 Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of The American Legion post 273 Madiera Beach Florida. Where we recently bought a home.

Jim fought a brave, strong and positive battle  with Cancer throughoiut  his journey and could not have done it without his family and friends. Remembering his words " It is what it is and there is nothing we can do about it " He was sooo strong and brave,  Believed God knew what was best for him, never questioning it.
We will never forget the kindness and compassion we got from everyone.
