Rev. Jimmie Frazier, Sr. was born December 28, 1951 in Troup County, GA to the parentage of the late Edward C. Frazier, Sr. and Nannie B. Scorggins. He departed this life on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Lanier Health Services, Valley, AL.

Jimmie was a product of the West Point Public Schools System and was a member of the 1969 graduating class of Harrison High School.

At an early age, Jimmie accepted Christ and united with the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Assistant Minister, Assistant Sunday School Teacher,a Usher and was a member of the Kitchen Committee.

Rev. Frazier was ordained into the ministry in 1990.  He was a US Army Veteran and a Master Mason FAM.

He was currently employed at Tillies Dry Cleaner, Valley, AL

He leaves to cherish his memories:  2 sons, Jimmie Frazier, Jr., San Diego, CA; Damien D. (Danielle) Frazier, West Point, GA; daughter, Tierra Jenkins, West Point, GA; two brothers, Rev. Amos (Thelma)Smith, Selma, AL; Ed (Linda)Frazier,Jr., Hogansville, GA; sister, Fannie Mae(Andrew)Spence, West Point, GA; an array of sisters-in-law and bothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and other  relatives and friends.
