Jimminess Shepherd was born September 19, 1955 to the late Caylor and Mattie McKinnes Shepherd. He was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church.

Jimminess (aka Pig) departed this life Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Caylor, Jr. and Roy Shepherd.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Jimminess White; three grandchildren, Jamarian White, Aaliyah White and Jordan White all of Detroit, MI; one brother, Luverne (Hattie) Shepherd; three sisters, Lessie (Johnny) Hubbard, Elisha Shepherd, Columbus, GA, and Ruby (Arthur) Murry, Detroit, MI; two aunts, Birdie Mae Reynolds and Gennie Ruth (Calvin) Brown, Union Springs, AL; one uncle, Earnest (Mamie) Hampton, Union Springs, AL; six other aunts and uncles, twelve nephews and nieces, fourteen great-nephews and nieces, a beloved nephew, Steven Shepherd; a host of cousins, other relatives, a very special friend, Ralph Johnson and two devoted friends, Jimmy and Gloria Cooper.
