Mr. Jimmy Rodgers 101 of LaFayette, Alabama died Thursday August 27, 2015 at the Bethany House Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of LaFayette on Saturday August 29, 2015 at 2PM with burial in the LaFayette City Cemetery, with the Rev. Bill Hand, Rev. Stephen Grubbs and the Rev. Bennie Yates officiating.
Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 12:30PM until 2PM prior to the service.

A fine gentleman who told me that he never worried. He was kind and understanding. He always stood back and let others get the credit.
He told me he loved his life running the restaurant and wished he still could even at his advanced age.
He loved serving others with no unkind words.
He took care of Aunt Thelma and was so hurt when he could no longer care for her as he had for so many yrs.
