A Mother's love is something that no-one can explain, It is made of deep devotion, and of sacrifice and pain
It is endless and unselfish, and enduring come what may For nothing can destroy it, or take that love away
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking
It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems
It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation, And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation
A many splendor miracle man cannot understand, And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand

Happy Mothers Day Mom!
I love you, Jenny
I opened up Facebook this morning and guess what I saw Mom. A beautiful picture of the tulips you bought me last Valentines Day! I planted them in the yard. I hope they pop up and make me smile and think of you. I miss you so much. I know you are up in heaven talking everyones ears off. I found this poem for you for Valentines Day. Though this is a day late you are never far from my heart.

A wife, a mother, a grandma too, This is the legacy we have from you. You taught us love and how to fight, You gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, And in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another, Not just as a wife not just as a mother. For all of us you gave your best, Now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace, you've earned your sleep, Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep.
I love you Momma!

Mom,
I miss your smile. This has been such a rough year, too many changes. Thanksmas dinner turned out good despite the fact you were not here to make it. Rachel and I did not bake this year. I know you are probably in shock over that one. Its hard to pick up the pieces and move forward. I will never forget the day you told me that when you left this world , I would take it very hard. Mom, you are right again! No one could have prepared my heart for that day. I do not even know how i handled all I had to do. I know you are happy. There are no tears in heaven. I am so glad for you and Dad. Somehow we will try to keep our traditions alive. Thanks for being my Mom. Thinking of you with love and missing you my whole heart.
Love,
Jenny

So, I have been working in the yard keeping my mind busy this weekend. It's hard to believe that you are gone. Such a sad day for us but I know you must be celebrating a glorious birthday in heaven with Dad, Maxine, Angel, Chance, Shadow, your mom and your dad and so many more loved ones that I know you missed. I just went outside to water your rose bushes...and 1 beautiful rose was blooming. It wasn't there this morning. Blooming for your birthday...what a beautiful gift. I love you Mom. Happy Birthday!
I wish I could give you these flowers in person. I miss you more than you'll know. I honor you today with my love and devotion. I will always keep you close to my heart. Please know I will never forget you. I am blessed to have been your daughter and grateful for the times we had together.
I love you Mom!

Good Morning,
This is a special day for Mom and Dad. A day that Mom and Dad talked about together. A day to honor their wishes. Mom and Dad always loved coming to Antioch with the family to boat, fish and barbeque. Their love for the outdoors has spilled over into all of our lives and the lives of our own children.
I know we all miss Mom and Dad, but we can remember today as we say our goodbyes, that it is a brief time of goodbye. One day we will meet again in eternity.
Mom and Dad are always going to be a part of our lives. God allowed Mom and Dad to be vessels for Him to bring our lives into this world. Mom and Dad loved all of us and did the best Mom and Dad could do to give each one of their children love, nurture and guidance.
Today I ask that each one of us reflects back on the good times we shared with Mom and Dad. The memories that we all created in the spirit of family. The laughs and of course and the times of sorrow. We must always remember love was the threads woven through the fabric of our lives that kept us together. Mom and Dad we love you with a love that is unending. We pray that you rest in peace until we all are reunited in eternity.
I wanted to share this story with you...I have been watching this flower grow at my house since October 2013. This was also at the time when mom lived with us before she moved to DeKalb. I didn't put these dates together until recently.....This small flower popped out of nowhere...and as you can see it is growning thru a block wall...I thought this was ironic. This flower does not get watered, fed or nourished from the soil. IT is TRULY AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL! It is an inspiration to ALL of us. When you feel that you have hit a "block wall" and you cannot overcome your life challenges....think again!! It is possible to survive in a drought environment...the proof is in the pictures!
"Create a MIRACLE today!"
Mom always loved gardening and loved the flowers in my back yard. The flowers and nature are a symbol of eternal life. I look forward to gardening and will always see her enjoying the beautiful flowers
