A True Southern Belle
Sandy and I met Joanne and Joe in Lake Toxaway years ago at a favorite Trout restaurant...We were traveling in our new RV back to Wrightsville Beach and all were staying in the same Rv resort.
As we continued our introductions and "do you know" session, we found out we both had purchased property in Naples for our winter stays in our rv's...What wonderful times we had with them chatting and meeting their daughters, Donna, Ann and Martha..
Having all the qualities of a true homemaker, crafter and delicious southern cook , we will always cherish our special love and memories with a cheerful and lovely "southern lady." Her family was loved by her and spoke of her her grans and girls often. She always had homemade pimento cheese and those delicious biscuits made by her friend in Oxford. Naples was a wonderful place for she and Joe as they relaxed and enjoyed decorating their new home there.
It is with sadness we lose a wonderful friend, but what JOY to have been blessed to have her in our lives. God bless Joe and the girls and Penn and Tinsley.
We love you all. Kathy and Sandy Griffin
