Joann Johnson Rosas, age 54 of Lexington, KY, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at her residence. She was born January 18, 1960 in Benham to the late Cliston and Ada Maggard Johnson. Joann was a homemaker and believed in the Christian faith.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Victor Rosas, of Lexington; son, Jeremy Augusta, of Missouri; brothers, Kenny Johnson and Reno Johnson; sisters, Tina Boggs, Jennifer Napier, Virginia Gilley, Sylvia Johnson, Mary Blair and Debra Deal; 4 grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home, 506 Holly St., Benham, KY on Friday, August 29, 2014, between 5 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014, in the Chapel at 11 am with Kenny Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the DL Creech Cemetery, Blair, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
