I remember when I was 14 yrs old, my sister and I went from her house to visit one of her friends which was about 6 blocks away and she didn't walk the whole time to get there. I carried her on my shoulders the whole way...that was a lot of fun cuz she kept making silly noises the whole way to see if I would laugh hard enough to want to put her down, but it didn't work lol.
