Mr. Joe Stowe was born May 26, 1926 to the late Mr. Tyrus and Willie Lee Shealey Stowe of Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

 Mr. Stowe departed this life on Friday, July 19, 2013 in Winder, Georgia.

He was united in holy matrimony to the late Vilois Johnson Stowe in 1949.

 His church membership was at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Dadeville, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memories: four children, three daughters, Ms. Gloria Jean Johnson of Pittsfield , Massachusetts , Ms. Cora Mae Thomas, Ms. Helen E. (William) Johnson all of Dadeville , Alabama ; one son, Mr. Albert Gene Stowe of Winder, Georgia; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Lonnie Mae Curry and Mrs. Virginia (Genera) Cox all of Dadeville, Alabama and Ms. Willie Rowe Woodyard of Newark, New Jersey; three brothers , Mr. Quinton Stowe of Jamacia, New York, Mr. Robert Johnson and Mr. Ralph Stowe of Dadeville, Alabama, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
