pyramids

February 2, 2017

It was around 1986 at BPI san jose and up to that point in time I had only taken a couple of healing classes. I didn't join the clairvoyant program till a year later or so. I don't remember why I was there that night, I think john might have invited me to sit in on the clairvoyant class. seems I always found some reason to be there because I just couldn't get enough of all that psychic stuff. Any way the place was packed and we were waiting for john to show up, he was running late. George Newton was house control and he was asking everyone to ground them selves and ground the room. someone didn't know how to ground the room so he started to explain how to. He went on to say grab the corners of the room and meet in the center then ground from there. He made the comment it kinda looks like a pyramid with another pyramid upside down on top of it. so everyone I gues had pyramid pictures everywhere. so about 15-20 minutes later john finally shows up, walks in to the room and just stands there with this funny look on his face. and after a few moments he says, I pulled in the driveway walked in the door and all I see is pyramids. where in the world am I Egypt?  Everyone started laughing. that blew me away for whatever reason. which when looking back seemed to be a common theme (getting blown away) when spending an evening with john.. You'll be missed my friend but we'll meet again. That I know. Peace.

Early Days

April 22, 2016

I met John around 1977 at the Santa Rosa Institute. Lewis and John both had the ability to make  me feel validated by creating the space for me to just be myself. I never forgot that feeling.Sometimes you don't need much more than that to get the ball rolling. Thanks John

Wedding

Officiating at our wedding, first one in the San Jose/Willow Glen building

June 3, 2015

1988, my first intermediate clairvoyant class, and I was so lit up I could barely be in the room. It was in a building I'd never been in, I didn't know anyone in the class, and everything in me was screaming "run!" I don't remember who was teaching, but within the first few minutes of the meditation, John, who I knew only as somebody "higher-up", came ambling into the room, telling everyone to keep their eyes closed, he was just going to talk for a while. And as he told stories and had the class laughing, he had his hand on my shoulder the entire time, grounding me and giving me a healing. I started to be able to take a breath, and considered that I might actually survive the night. John rambled for about ten minutes, healing me all the while, before finally patting me on the back and ambling on.

For that, and for so many other things that will always make me smile, I thank you, John. It was always OK to be a human being around you, as messy as that could be. Your perspective was always useful, and your sense of humor seemed to enjoy mine, which made working with you so much fun. I always felt lucky to have the opportunity. The last conversation we had, I mentioned that though part of me was wanting to get back to doing healing work and teaching, my life just didn't seem to be heading that way. I could see you shake your head, even over the phone. "All of that stuff is overrated," you said. "You're healing yourself; there is no higher calling." Yes! and thank you; dude, you rock! I miss you, and wish you a wonderful new adventure. Until the next time...

Growth

May 30, 2015
by Mikki M

I first "met" John in a Reading session.
The theme was: "Do you want to Teach to be liked?"  or  "Do you want to Teach to grow?".
Over the years of such annual session he taught me by example, how to grow from expereince.
After 35 odd years in the business, he could have easily sat on a pedestal. But no. His hunger for growth, is an admirable quality I hope I can imbibe.

My heart-felt condolences to his near and dear.
I wll miss him.

How he became my Teacher....

May 24, 2015

While going through a difficult divorce, i was recommended to go to the Aesclepion Center to have a 'Supreme Being Healing' where I came out with the most clarity in years.... out of curiosity (approaching as skeptical scientist) within a week i returned for a 'Clarivoyant Reading' where i received a tape answering my questions of the immediate future, one of which included that i would see an 'upside down surfboard'. Within a few days, I did see the upside down surfboard!!!! I was shocked and had to understand how this could be.... i felt nothing was more important than confronting the source and getting answers, so i stormed into the office and asked to see John Fulton.
When I walked into the room i saw a silver haired man, who motioned for me to sit down. My first question was: "How is it possible that your people knew a specific event  would occur?"
He didn't say a word, but began to smile and chuckle(!) and then he began to brighten up his aura so intensely that i had to look away because it was like staring into a radiant light. I swore I think I even saw he had a halo! Then the only thing he said was: "You are here to join the 1 year Clairvoyant Training School, here is your application, go ahead and fill it out and i'll be back", then he left the room!!
I was stunned. BUT, he knew (and probably read my mind) that I had the burning desire to learn and find out the meaning of all this stuff..... so in the end he was right, i filled in the application and joined the classes. LOL.
When i look at my life, and the trajectory I have since become, i trace it back to John who woke me up from my narrow skeptical scientist mentality, to conceive and behold the greater human potential inherent within us all.
For this John I Thank You.
You will always be remembered.

Around 24 years ago I was sitting in line next to the door as a guest in the midwife program in a clearing after a birth. The door flew open, a man walked inside this room full of women, looked at me, stopped in his tracks, laid his hands on my shoulders and I sort of flew like a rocket up to the ceiling. He announced out loud he had lit up my mother in my space, laughed and left.. After we were done I asked: ’ Who was that?”.  John Fulton! Years ago I had heard his name for the first time when the reading program just started in the Netherlands around 1980. I was invited to his guest class he gave then in Holland, but I had the flu, so missed out on it that time. I got my mockup somehow. Much later in another context he once said to me: you mocked her up and she mocked you up, so why not say hello and find your space and blow your pictures and have fun!  In the many years since then I had the great opportunity to learn this from him in many ways, travel together, helped a little to create space for his teaching in the Netherlands, went through highs and lows in our meetings and in the huge growth periods created by our travels to Aesclepion, (of my husband and me) going back and forth over the ocean, always experiencing his support to offer what was possible during our stay, his great clarity, his great courage as a teacher and counselor to confront and to lay the challenges on my path, which I needed and often still tried to avoid. With deep appreciation and laughter and awe I wish you, John, the beauty of the rose, you picked for us out of your garden when we met the last time in person in 2012, on the path you travel now somewhere in the mystery and light of everlasting life. As someone said; Your hello’s did travel long ways and still do and are still appreciated deeply and yes, will also be missed in the physical realm. Love and light on your path.

Teacher and friend

May 21, 2015

I had been attending Dreams lectures for a few years, buying tapes, contemplating various programs, but mostly looking forward to the 5th Friday months. Sometime in November/December of 2002, I attended with my newborn daughter, Zoe. I had taken her to the lobby toward the end of the evening and John greeted us with his secret look of knowing and these words: "I think you will find this work quite helpful in your communications with her." Nearly 13-years later, no truer words were spoken and the gifts of the Clairvoyant program continue to guide me.

We moved from a teacher/student pictures to a male friends pictures - lunches at Aroma Cafe, walks in Peacock Gap, NBA playoffs on tv. John, I use your words everyday and miss your smile even more.

Are you braggin' ?

May 18, 2015

I would always chuckle when it was "open question/comment" time in a lecture or workshop and someone (including myself) would say something like- well, I'm being the effect of some energy here, here and here and it's not moving, etc. John would often say, "Are you braggin'?" and the victim energy would change with a giggle or a guffaw!  That simple amused "hello" to spirit. . . whom had probably creatively mocked that life experience up, maybe several lifetimes ago : D
"Go right ahead. . .don't let me stop you, he'd say. . .it's a beautiful thing. Keep braggin' ". . .until the laughter brought it to a close and ownership was resumed. . .or not. . .

True Self

May 14, 2015

John is an amazing teacher. He taught me that if someone is stuck in a picture, it would only worsen if I was stuck in the picture with them. Meaning: don't make someone else's problem your own problem. It's a hard lesson to follow, but I find when I follow this advice, it makes a world of a difference.

There is so much else I could say, but the main thing is that he always encouraged me to be who I am, not what other people want me to be. I believe he did this for everyone. He saw people for who they are, not what anyone else wanted them to be. He motivateded us all to listen to our intuition, to listen to ourselves.

As John would say, "stay in amusement."

Look at your neighbour and say...

May 13, 2015

I followed a lot of the lectures of John. Real life at the birthcenter, in Holland, on tape and with cd's.iI also was at the Tibet / China spiritual tour. I will always remember the incredible joy John brought into his classes and lectures. When the energy became  sort of serious,  he made us turn to our neighbour and let us say these crazy things like: you really look like my mom, and many, many other short remarks that turned the serious energy in an instant into loving yourself again and laughter about yourself.

Pilgramages

May 13, 2015

One of the things I will always remember about John was his ability to set energy. I loved going on pilgramages with him because he gave everyone space to have their growth periods. And we had fun!

p.s. My favorite teaching moment with John was at a TM retreat. He had all the men at the retreat go around to all the women and tell them they were beautiful, then he had all the women go around to all the men and tell them they were doing a good job. Talk about lighting up pictures! But again FUN.
