August 28, 2019 will mark 5 years of you being gone....Miss you John...miss you much...alot has happened and just wished that you were here to experience it all...cant write anymore....later..

Today marks 2 years since you left us so unexpectedly, may you rest in peace Stanley!

                    When I'm Gone

When I come to the end of my journey and I travel my last mile, just forget If you can that I ever frowned and remember only the smile.
Forget the unkind words I've ever spoken, remember some good I have done. Forget the heartache and remember I've had loads of fun.
Forget that I have slumbered and blundered and sometimes fell by the way. Remember that I have fought some hard battles, and won, ere the close of the day.
Then forget the grief for my going, I would not have you sad for a day, but in summer just gather some flowers, and remember the place where I lay, and come in the shade of the evening, when the sun paints the sky in the West, stand for a few minutes beside me and remember only my best.

Today I am thinking of you,,,,it has been a deluge of rain coming down all day but I know that you would have taken your walk this morning...summer has begun a few days ago and it is quite chilly like an autumn day....you are missed so much...as the postcards always say.........wish you were here.......

Spring time has been beautiful this year and quite perfect for those morning walks....you are always in my heart and thoughts.......I hope that wherever you are your spirit has the knowledge that I deeply miss you...and will always love you

Each and every time I see roses, it gives me the opportunity to reflect of the beauty and simplicity that you had with your life. Oh, how you tended to your roses with gentleness and love, job well done!

This morning was very foggy, but come rain or shine or 14 below you would have met up with Snyder for the morning walk...we miss you John...oh how I miss you!
