Mr. John Kelley Jr. was born September  24, 1950 to the late Mr. John Ramie and Lorene Kelley in Coosa County,AL. One brother preceded him in death; Mr. Timothy L. Kelley.

He joined the Kellyton Chapel UM Church at an early age and later moved his membership to the Friendship Baptist Church.

Mr. Kelley was married to the former Mary E. Cunningham (Mayes) in 1968 and to this union two children were born: Amanda and Jeffery.

Mr. John Kelley was formerly employed with Russell Corporation for 35 years and the Alexander City Board of Education (Bus Driver) for 17 years.

He  leaves  to  cherish  his  memories:  One  daughter,  Amanda (Derick) McClendon  of Alex City, AL, Two sons Jeffery (Jacqueline)  Ke1ley of Wetumpka, AL, and Pernell L. Riley of Birmingham, AL. Five Sisters: Patricia (Willie) Thomas of Chicago, IL Jimmie Ruth Wilson (Bobby) of Goodwater, AL, Ethel (Charles) Williams of Alex City, AL. Two brothers: Alfred L. Kelley and Charles Kelley both of Goodwater, AL. Ten Grandchildren: Trevonte Riggins, Starkesha, Jasmine, Jalen, Jada, Jerrell, Jaion, Hunter, and Kaleb  & Kyle McClendon. Two Great Grandchildren: Zoya Menniefield and Kayden Morgan, 3 Aunts, 2 uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
