Hey John, haven't spoken for a while but there hasn't been a day go by since i've lost you where i haven't wanted to pick up the phone to ring you, send you a dirty or joke email play golf or meet up for a drink as we so often used to.

God i miss you and never will forget you. Without you knowing it, you have inspired my life just through knowing you as you did with everyone you touched.

We will meet again someday buddy, but untill then you will always be with me.

I found this poem on the internet and it says everthing that I want to say.

Dad, our sadness knows no end;
We can’t believe you’re gone;
We’re grieving for you every day;
It’s hard to carry on.

You were always there to support and care,
When we needed a true friend,

No one can tell a joke like dad did.  Growing up I use to get embarrassed introducing dad to people as I never knew what kind of joke would come rolling off his tongue, after a while I got over it as the more embaressed I got the more he loved to do it.

Dad got a kick out of telling his jokes - no matter how many times he told you the same joke, he still got a hoot out of telling it.  I have never known anyone to have as many one liners that just roll of their tongue.

Will definatly miss the dirty, crude, rude, funny emails and dad ringing up just to  tell a joke then hang the phone up.....
