His Life

A little insight:

August 17, 2015

My dad was an amazing guy, when he was younger he really enjoyed fishing and going out on his boat.

He lived in a caravan on the seafront with his mum, step dad and two other brother "All crammed in a small caravan".

My dad was a carpenter and joiner who worked on major projects such as canary wolf.

Unfortunately in early part of his life he suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage which he remained in a coma for 12 months.

dispute all of this he still let an independent life. Being in a wheelchair didn't Change anything, It just opened up more opportunities to find alternative ways of doing something.

I promise my dad that I'll take him fishing again, so one late night me and my brother took him down to the harbour and carried him across the stones, where he could then fish.... "He still was better than me"!

I remember back in the past when I was small, he used to be a scouting leader, he really enjoyed being a part of this. Going on camps Etc...

My dad never shard that he was 'claustrophobic', ever time he used to take the scouts caving he would never do it. "I Wonder where I get it from"!...

My sister said that he "used to take the 'Mike' out of her, because she got attacked by seagulls trying to get at her pot of prawns".

My dad really started changing when his mum passed away in 2013, he did not know what to do!...

He still was in shock for a long time.

Until my sister and her friend started taking care of him he was more happier for filled with joy and comfort.

He really enjoyed playing video games, watching films and playing board games. Where they all would have so much fun.

He had a grate sense of humour and I shared some fantastic times with him, not all of them I can tell it would be so long!...

My dad suffered a severe cardiac arrest because of a P.E. Pulmonary embolism.

Unfortunately he had horrific cerebral hypoxia And his lungs couldn't support him for any longer.

I was with him every step of the way sleeping at the hospital by his bed side until his last breaths.

I really will miss you daddy, You were my rock!

You were the most amazing dad, Yes you have been through the wars but life is never straight forward you were a fighter every step of the way and I'm so proud to call you my dad.

Love is everlasting, the memories will continue I will never forget all of the fun times with you.
