A native of Box Springs, GA., Mrs. Kelley was the daughter of the late James and Carrie Mounds Wright.


Residing in Columbus most of her life, she was a very devout member of Allen Temple A.M.E. Church and its Choir, Ladies Improvement Board, Stewardess and Daughters of Allen Ministries. She also was a member of the Garden Club. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Dozier.


Surviving are two sisters, Essie Jones and Dorothy Hollis; a brother, Freddie Wright; nephews and nieces, Roy Jones(Linda), Donald Jones(Deborah), Paul Jones(Sally), Teresa Jones, John R. Jones, Philander Dozier, Ann Dozier, Tameta Cordero, Michele Smith, Leroy Lynch, Mark Jones, Phyllis Dozier, Michael Jones and Vickie Dozier; a aunt, Gussie Bell Mays; a special nephew, Andre Johnson; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
