A native of Columbus, GA., Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Tonie Bridges and Eula Franklin Parker. She was a 1945 graduate of William H. Spencer High School and attended Morris Brown College. She retired from the Muscogee County Tag Office after sixteen plus years of service. A very devout member of Friendship Baptist Church, she was a member of the Seniors On The Move Ministry. She also was a member of the Morris Brown College Alumni Association and the Pelatis Auxillary of Iota Phi Lambda. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Wise.

Surviving are a daughter, Christie A. Hudson(F. Terriel); a son, Bernard Johnson(Charlotte); four nieces, Joyce Gosha, Vivian Smith(Joseph), Carolyn Humphrey and Angela Johnson; a nephew, Tony Watt; a "special" daughter, Dorothy A. Howell; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
