About Jonathan

July 12, 2011

This is Jonathan David Francis ~ AKA Jon-Jonnles-Johnny D. - White Wizard-the somber child-County Coroner  and many more nicknames..

The first 4 years of Jons life we  lived in Osterville,MA. We then moved to Hyannisport,MA where Jon lived for 18 yrs. and left us all with countless memories.
Jonathan started school at Hyannis West Elementary School were he attended K-4th grade, he then went to the 5th Grade School in Hyannis as it was then called. He then went through 6th-8th Grade at the (then) Marstons Mills Middle School. He spent his 9th - 11th Grades at BHS under the caring, patient  & watchful eyes of Jane Sullivan and Karen Kelley.
When Jon left school, he worked as a laborer and then as a roofer. These weren't his interests in life so he re-enrolled in BHS the 2006-2007 term. He desparately wanted to finish his education so he could go to CCCC. He was very interested in taking Psychology and Ancient History. He wanted to become a psychologist someday and help people. He was also interested in the thought of entering the Army which he inquired about.

As you browse his site you may learn something about Jon that you maybe didn't know before-or maybe you could share something others didn't know about Jon-->

I've created this site for Jonathan as a remembrence to him. Even though Jon is no longer here with us, I believe he is in spirit and he is traveling between the many planes of existance and will never  be far from us.

Jon was an exceptionally gifted, bright, talented person. He was very compassionate, empathetic, and caring. Most anyone who knew him would know that he would literally give you the shirt off his back if you wanted it. He would do anything for you if you asked as long as you were straight up with him. He was a happy person a majority of the time and wanted everyone he came into contact with to be happy too. Often he would play the peace-maker, mediator. Often times he could be found wandering up Main Street-over to Town Hall to get his water-"playing with hobos" as he called it, he enjoyed interacting with them. There were not many people who did not like Jon. He was a laid back, mellow, peaceful soul.   You couldn't help but have a good time when Jon was around.

Jon was a self-taught guitarist, he LOVED to play and he really loved his KME Custom made guitar, it was his "baby". he also had his first guitar he got when he was 12 years old that he "customized" himself and would play when he wanted to "play hard".  He was an unbelievably fast typist - I used to have to watch him to believe he was  typing actual words, and he was!  Jon also loved photography. He was always taking pictures and many were of beautiful sceneries. He was also very photogenic and I don't believe he ever took a "bad" picture.
Jon was also interested in drawing, writings, numerology, vegetarianism, meditation, psychology, Ancient History,
