Jon jon

December 26, 2012

Jon jon was our go to man for our coca cola at early age.  Jon jon and Len len are so close.  I remember when Auntie baby first gave birth to jon and i carried him at one month old.  He was another entertaining cousin just like Len len cute as can be.

Len len was and still is our doll back in the day when my family didn't have many relatives yet in San Diego. Me , Arnel and Mark would be so happy seeing len in her red jumper and jon jon.   Len len was our  sunshine with pony tails and jon jon always following her. Uncle sol would ask jon.. get me coke.. and jon would follow uncle sol so much and get the soda with ease.  Then what do you know? Time flies and he and Len are grown up.  I still see them as little kids who used to sit in my couch at age perhaps 2 or 4. I would dress both Len len and jon jon with my flowery leighs from hawaii and take their picture in my red couch back in spring valley.  They probably don't remember but the photo is with my mom.

This brother sister team was so different from my brother sister relationship, they are best friends. Although they traveled to Japan and Seattle we once again reunited with Uncle Danny and Auntie Baby.

Pretty soon Jon was in a healthier habit... started exercising, doing outdoor sports, being an active member and health conscious.  I remember seeing his math scores back long ago on the refrigerator... of their other condo.

They say in jeremiah , God has a plan for us.  Jon had a wonderful life, with great friends , mentors , wonderful sisters good parents and good head on his shoulders.  I am teary many times throughout the year.  He will always be remembered.  Naka tanim na yan sa puso ko ang pinsan ko si Jon jon and of course Len len.  I was more close with Len len.. because i saw her grow up.. more and brought her on my dates back then and am so proud of len at her ability to speak tagalog and english.  I have nothing but positive things to say. Last time i saw jon or second to the last time he drove me to downtown when i needed a ride to the courthouse he stayed with me and comforted me.  Thank you Jon jon. We love you.  No matter how many pictures i see and music, I know you're a fine young man and i'm a proud cousin.  I'm glad I had that last ride with you Alone for first time... when you were helping me drive to downtown.

Maybe God was telling me ... something.. anyways I LOVE YOU WE ALL LOVE YOU JON JON..  love ate Jenny.......and I love both Len and the whole family.... the most remembered photo i have of you is you wearing green shirt and brown pants i believe you were in seattle then.  That's how i always picture you Jon jon . Love you ate jenny dacon

My Brother

December 19, 2012

No one can ever compare to this blessing in my life. He was not just a brother, but definitely my inspiration in life. He was my best friend the only one I would fully trust in everything in this world. We were VERY close.. closer than anyone else can imagine. He always had my back and I always had his. We did everything together... always understanding each other.

I can't express how hard it is for me to lose him so early in my life. I had to learn to do everything a different way. My life really did depend on him in a lot of aspects. It's definitely an adjustment. But  I couldn't be more proud of my baby brother.

He was better than me, in life, in faith, and in spirit. He had the mentality of trusting God with everything but living life to the fullest. He is loved by many and he leaves a legacy that will not ever die. So many memories so many laughs and so many tears shared between us. My brother lives inside of me every single day of my life. I miss him more when I am happy and I miss him constantly when I am sad. But one thing he leaves me with, the memory of having him ... how he cared for me and how he loved me can't ever be replaced.
