Missing you Jo jo

So many memories of us especially as kids. We ended up loosing contact with them during the years. Tannis found me on Facebook about a year or two ago. She told about me Joe's passing, I cried like a baby. I can't believe he's gone. He always thought he was invisible .  He was a brother to us and Tannis is definitely a second mom to us.  We met Tannis and Joe when we moved to Marietta Georgia. Tannis and my mom became best friends who was also our next door neighbors which in return we became best friends with Joe. He was a brother to me and my sister. You never seen one of us without the other. We was always together. Even getting into trouble together lol. We never was apart until we moved from where we was living and even then we always found ways to be with them some way or another. I hate ever loosing contact with them. I got so many wonderful memories with this amazing family one in particular was he was playing baseball during the afternoon and we went to his game and during the game it started to get pitch black and started to rain and the tornado warnings sirens started going off and we all scrambled to safety and went to their house and my mom freaked out because she didn't know where we was until after the fact and she was at the baseball field looking for us all during the tornado. Another favorite memory we would travel with each other's moms to the mountains to just go pick apples and always just made a day out of it and Going to Alabama to go see Tannis's daughter and his sister on the weekends when we could.  Another memory was we went to the lake and went swimming and the moms served us hot dogs and hamburgers and Joe was always the prankster and Joe ended up swallowing a piece of hot dog and started choking on it and we all thought he was playing like normal and my mom looked at Tannis and said I don't he's playing sure enough he was wasn't playing and was actually choking and luckily enough for us my mom was a paramedic and knew exactly how to get it out and she did, she saved him that day. I got so many wonderful memories that I'm going to cherish til the day I die. I can't believe he's gone, My brother!! Whenever we needed them and especially him we always called upon them. Joe would always come to our rescue. They will always be our family. The only thing I wish for I wished I was there for him like he was there for us when he needed it the day he passed. I will always love Tannis and Joe. They will always be in our thoughts memories and prayers
