Joseph Loes, 52, resident of West Point, Ga., passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, West Point, GA at 2:00 PM EST with the Very Reverend Allen Pruitt officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church or West Point Food Closet in his memory.

Joe you are gone way too soon. We had not had enough time with you here at St. Johns. We all had many hopes and dreams to work on together at the church. You will be missed in those endeavors. But whatever path God chooses for us, we will always remember you. You will be missed and never ever forgotten. God's peace to you.
