Joseph “Joey” Grayson Self, 42, a resident of Smith Road, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011.
A native of Granville County, the son of Joseph “Sonny” and Linda McFalls Self. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Creedmoor and was retired from McFalls Brothers Logging.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2011 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Eddie Mauldin. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Robbins Self of the home, two daughters, Bridgett Self Wallace and husband Dale of Oxford, Victoria Beth Self of the home, his parents, Sonny & Linda Self, a sister, Jaime Self Johnson and a grandson, Jordan Wallace all of Oxford.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 – 8:30 PM Saturday evening, April 9, 2011 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at 3552 Tar River Road.
