ForeverMissed

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Joseph Thomas Jr who was born on December 4, 1978. God called him home on September 10, 2008. Heaven couldnt wait!!

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw Jr's loving face.

He put his arms around him and lifted him to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, for he always takes the best.

He knew that Jr was suffering, he knew Jr was in pain.
And knew that Jr would never get well on this earth again.

He saw Jr's path was difficult, he closed his tired eyes,
He whispered to him "Peace be Thine" and gave him wings to fly.

When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to this earth to suffer once again.

You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide,
You live on in our hearts and you will always by our side.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.

May we continue to love one another when we can and while we can for we never know the day God will call us home and then it will be too late to tell them you love them or how much.  Nothing could ever replace the emptiness I feel for the lost of my brother but I know he is in a better place.  May his soul rest in peace and God continues to help us through these tough times.

Love Always Your Sis'Ter

Hello everyone, Jr was my uncle. He always said my lovely neice and I would then reply hey my lovely uncle. I miss my lovely uncle alot, and alot of times I get angey and hate the world because this feeling is new to me, I now understand that I am being selfish because my uncle is no longer here. I pray that it would get better and yes it has. I loved my lovely uncle alot.

Jr, Words can not express how much I miss you. I sometimes still can't believe you're gone. I miss our talks, your presence, how close we were & how you were practically over our house almost everyday like you lived with us, like you use to back in the day. The older we got the closer we became & I thank god for that, I truly miss you, love you and wish to god you were still here. Luv u Sis!

If Tomorrow Starts Without Me

If Tomorrow Starts Without Me…

If tomorrow starts without me, and I’m not here to see,
If the sun should rise you find your eyes all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say.
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you
And each time that you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too.
But when tomorrow starts without me please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand.
He said my place was ready, in heaven far above
And that I’d have to leave behind all those I dearly love.
But as I turned and walked away a tear fell from my eye.
For all my life I’d always thought, I didn’t want to die.
I had so much to live for, so much left yet to do.
It seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays the good ones and the bad.
I thought of all the love we shared, and all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while,
I’d say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized that this could never be,
For emptiness and memories would take the place of me.
When I thought of worldly things I might miss come tomorrow
I thought of you and when I did my heart was filled with sorrow.
When I walked through heavens gates I felt so much at home.
God looked down and smiled at me from his great golden throne
He said, “This is eternity and all I’ve promised you”
Today your life on earth has passed but here life starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last
And since each day is the same there’s no longing for the past.
You have been so faithful so trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things you knew you shouldn’t do.
You have been forgiven and now at last you’re free.
So won’t you come and take my hand and share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts with out me don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me, I’m right here in your heart.

Love Always,

You let me know you loved me

You let me know you loved me, in so many ways. You made me feel important with encouragement and praise.  You were always there when I needed you to comfort and to care.  I know I'm in your thoughts your love followed me everywhere.  Thank you for all you've done, and given so generously for there's no doubt in my mind I know you loved me.

I love you, my wonderful mother.

Forever in your heart, J.R. aka SPORT.

Jr's Childhood & Adulthood Stories

HE HAD A LOVE FOR ANIMALS.  I REMEMBER ONE TIME HE HAD A DOG AND HE WANTED THE DOG TO HAVE A BOBTAIL. HE TIED AN STRING AROUND THE DOG'S TAIL AND HOPE THE EXCESS WOULD DROP OFF.  HIS SISTER DAWN ONCE HAD A FISH TANK AND HE WOULD PUT DISH DETERGENT OR LOTION IN THE WATER.  WHY WE WILL NEVER KNOW. THE THINGS CHILDREN DO.

HE LOVE TO PLAY HIS NINTENDO. AND WAS GOOD AT IT. HE CAN CON CORE A GAME IN 1 DAY. BOY DID THAT KEEP MOM IN THE STORE . MOM WOULD ALWAYS TAKE HIM TO THE GRAND PRIX HE LOVE THOSE MACHINES. ONE NIGHT HE PLAYED THE GAME MORTAL COMBAT WHEN HE GOT TO THE LAST MAN, (LAST LEVEL) PEOPLE WOULD GIVE HIM QUARTERS AFTER QUARTERS TO DEFEAT THE MAN WITH THE WHITEBEARD. HE GOT AND OVATION THAT NIGHT. NO ONE COULD EVER BEAT THE GAME. AN OH DID HE LOVE FISHING. MOM ALWAYS SAY IF THERE WAS A FISH TO BE CAUGHT, J.R. WOULD CATCH IT. HIS BAIT: USE BREAD CATCH A MINNERS AND USE THEM FOR BAIT . SOMETIME HE WOULD CATCH FISH 2 FT. LONG AND GIVE IT AWAY. HE CAUGHT 5. IN ONE DAY. HIS DADDY USE TO TELL HIM TO SELL THEM BUT HE LOVE GIVING THEM AWAY TO HIS AUNT OR PEOPLE IN NEIGHBORHOOD. HE KNEW HIS FISH AND COULD TELL WHAT KIND IT WAS AND HOW TO CATCH THEM. HE ALSO LOVE DRIFT FISHING. WHEN HE WAS IN CHURCH AT THE AGE OF 5 , THE PASTOR DOING COMMUNION WOULD LET THE YOUTH SING "JESUS LOVE'S ME " , J.R WOULD SING THE VERSE AND THE YOUTH WOULD SING THE CHORUS. JR.
