My Deepest Sympathy to Al, Richard, Mark and the entire family in the lost of your Wife, Mother and Dearest Friend.  I remember Josephine as such a sweet and kind lady when I was attending First Baptist Church.  I know she will be missed by many in the Granville County Community. My Thoughts and Prayers are with each one of you!

Northside has lost a grand lady. Richard, Mark, and the Lyon family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have many good memories of Josephine and the wonderful lady she was. She will be greatly missed.

Al, Richard, Mark and the rest of the family. I am sorry for your loss. I was blessed to meet such a gracious lady in my early years. She has always been a kind person to me and all of my family. My fondest memory has to be coming through the yard early morning on my "loud" little motorcycle and parking by the back porch for work in the tobacco field and having her step out on the porch to ask if I would like some breakfast before going to the barnyard. That was some of the best biscuits I ever had and the reason I was usually early.

I am so very saddened to hear of Josephine's passing. She was such a dear, sweet lady and I always enjoyed visiting with her. My deepest sympathy to each of her family members. Love and prayers to you all. Dot & Wayne Watson

Mr. Lyon, RIchard, Mark and loved ones. Your wife/mother was one of the warmest and most caring people I have had the pleasure of knowing. I am sorry for your great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I remember her coming in Bob's with that a big smile and always glad to see you. God has called another one of his angels home.

Al, Richard and Mark; I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Lyons passing. Please know how thankful I am of the wonderful memories I was afforded by being part of the farm. All those years of having me around as a kid and Josephine was always patient with me. I have always and will continue to represent her as a beautiful, kind and smart woman when telling stories of my youth.

The world has lost a treasure. Feeney was gracious and loving. I will miss her. Though I didn’t know her a long time, her memory will be with me forever.
