His Life

Chapter 2

March 28, 2015

He was a very active boy.  He loved to go see the Mexicans after they bought live stock to butcher.  One day he came in and told me look what I have.  In his hands he was holding two goat eyeballs.  I screamed and he threw them on the wall outside.  He told me the next time he would get the horns.  The cats ate the eyeballs.

He loved camping and I would take him all the time.  I taught him survival off the land.  He loved being out there.  He had such a sense of adventure in him.  He loved fishing and hiking.

He was a very smart boy.  He had a photographic memory which I admired as I was not that good at remembering facts and dates.

The beginning

March 25, 2015
Josh was born.  The day before I had gone mountain climbing and he was forced to come and really didn't want to.  I guess he was comfortable where he was.  He was a big baby just as he turned into a big man.  I took him home and put him in his crib.  He lifted his head and looked at me and I got chills.  I realized I had this responsibility now.  He always liked movement.  Swings, cars anything moving.  He was not even a month old and we took off accross country.  He was about 4 months old when we got to California where we stayed for the next ten year
