When I was surrounded by darkness, 
You were my shining light. 
No one knows the pain, I’m going through, 
But knowing you are in God’s arms I can rejoice. 

Even though you left me and our family so quickly, 
I knew God had bigger plans for you. 
So he said peace be still and called you home.
 

I can’t turn back the hands of time. 
I will always cherish the time we spent together.
