I really can't say much about you (I was a kid when you were with us), but I remember vividly that you released your car on several occasions to take us (the Ayodeles) to Ketu (at least) from Agiliti. Your quotes and sage words are still being referred to in church- CAC CITY OF PEACE, TILL DATE. Oluwadunsin for the AYODELES.

HIS CHRISTIAN JOURNEY

JOSIAH WAS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF FAITH .HE DEVOTED HIS LIFE TO THE SERVICES OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AT HIS EARLY AGE WHICH URGED HIM TO INITIATE AND FOUND THE CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION CACS) WHILE IN SECONDARY SCHOOL. AT THE SAME TIME, HE WAS ALSO THE PRESIDENT OF CACSA. HE LATER ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN AND GRADUATED WITH BACHELOR OF ARTS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE IN 1984. HIS LOVE FOR MENTORING AND IMPACTING KNOWLEDGE TO CHILDREN WAS EXHIBITED TO THE FULLEST WHEN HE TOOK A TEACHING JOB AFTER UNIVERSITY GRADUATION.HE WORKED IN SO MANY PLACES AS A TEACHER. HIS  LAST APPOINTMENT WAS AS TE VICE PRINCIPAL OF OJOTA JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL IN LAGOS, A POSITION HE HELD UNTIL THE LORD CALLED HIM HOME

HIS SCHOOL DAYS

HE HAD HIS PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATION IN OKUKU, AND ATTENDED BAPTIST HIGH SCHOOL IRE, BOTH IN OSUN STATE, DUE TO HIS SOUND LEADERSHIP QUALITIES AND OBEDIENCE TO THE CONSTITUTED AUTHORITY, JOSIAH WAS MADE A SCHOOL PREFECT IN SECONDARY SCHOOL. MY HUSBAND WAS MY BEST FRIEND

May 28, 2021
MY HUSBAND, MY LOVER, MY BEST FRIEND, MY COUNSELOR, THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME, MY JEWEL OF INESTIMABLE VALUE, THE BEST OF MY LIFE WHO GOD LOVES AND LOVES OTHERS IN RETURN.
JOSIAH MI OWON, YOU BROUGHT ME INTO YOUR WORLD AND MY LIFE NEVER REMAINED THE SAME AGAIN. YOU NURTURED ME TO THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE LORD'S WORD. YOU TAUGHT ME THE BEST WAY TO GO IN LIFE. MY LONG-TIME PRAYER OF MARRYING A JEWEL, A STRONGMAN, LOVING AND MOST UNDERSTANDING HUSBAND HUSBAND TO BEHOLD AND TREASURE WERE ANSWERED IN YOU. GOD ANSWERED ME BY GIVING ME MUCH MORE THAN I COULD EVER DREAM OR IMAGINE.

OLUWAYIMIKA 'TEMI NIKAN SOSO' CAME INTO MY LIFE AND COVERED MY NAKEDNESS. YOU DID WONDERS IN MY LIFE AND IN THE LIFE OF MY SIBLINGS WHEN OUR MOTHER WAS ILL.

A MAN OF HONOR, A MAN OF LITTLE WORDS. NO PROBLEM SHAKES YOU, YOU WILL ALWAYS ASK US TO PUT ALL OUR PROBLEMS INTO 'THE HOLLOW OF HIS HANDS' YOU LOVED EVERYBODY AROUND YOU. YOU TAUGHT ME AND OUR CHILDREN THE WAY OF THE LORD. YOU WERE A MENTOR, A LOVING FATHER TO EVERYONE.

WHENEVER I WAS WORRIED, YOU WOULD CALL ME SOFTLY AND SAY 'GBEMISOLA, COUNT IT ALL JOY'. NO DAY PASSES WITHOUT  US TALKING AND PRAYING. OUR COMMUNICATION WAS 100% TILL THE LORD CALLED YOU TO HIM. YOU ENCOURAGED ME NOT TO ALLOW ANYTHING OR ANYONE IN THIS WORLD TO SHAKE OR MAKE ME DO WHAT I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO DO. YOU WERE MY INSTRUCTOR AND MENTOR.

OLUWAYIMIKA, YOU SENT ME ON A JOURNEY TO ACHIEVE GREENER PASTURE AND PREPARE A BETTER FUTURE FOR OUR CHILDREN, BUT YOU DID NOT WAIT TO REAP THE FRUIT OF IT. I THOUGHT THE EMBASSY WOULD ALLOW US TO SEE EACH OTHER IN JANUARY AND APRIL 2011, BUT THEY DENIED YOU.  YOU KNEW IT, I KNOW IT, AND GOD KNOWS IT. MY BROTHER 'S PURPOSE FOR COMING WAS NOT TO BURY YOU BUT TO FLY YOU TO INDIAN FOR BETTER TREATMENT, BUT IT WAS SO SAD THAT GOD DECIDED TO CALL YOU BEFORE HE COULD DO SO. THAT MEMORY CAN NEVER BE ERASED FROM THE INDELIBLE PART OF MY HEART. WELL, GOD WILL NEVER MAKE A MISTAKE.
'PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINT' (PSALM 116:15).
I HAVE, AND STILL DO HAVE THE FULLEST CONFIDENCE IN YOU BECAUSE, IN YOU, I HAVE LACKED NOTHING OF VALUE.

YOUR LAST WORD ASKING ME TO PRAY WITH YOU SETTLES ME; WE WER ABLE TO PRAY TOGETHER TWO NIGHTS TO YOUR DEPARTURE. YOUR VOICE WILL CONTINUE TO BE IN MY MEMORY. THE LEGACY YOU LEFT BEHIND WILL ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER, AND THE LORD WILL HELP ME TO CARRY ON THE GOOD WORK OF FAITH YOU HAVE LEFT BEHIND. I AM NOT AFRAID BECAUSE THE LORD HAS A PLAN FOR US. I KNOW HE WILL SAIL ME THROUGH, AND WE WILL NOT BE PUT TO SHAME

OLUWAYIMIKA, YOU BROUGHT ME GOOD, NOT HARM, ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE.
YOU MADE SURE WE ATE HEALTHY AND TOOK PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO NURTURING OUR SPIRITUAL LIFE. MY SWEETHEART, YOUR QUIET AND IMPACTFUL MANNER TAUGHT, NURTURED, AND EARNED THE TRUST OF OTHERS. YOU OPENED YOUR ARMS TO THE POOR AND EXTENDED YOUR HANDS TO THE NEEDY; SHARING, HELPING, BUILDING, AND NOURISHING A TEAM

AS MY BEST FRIEND AND 'OLOLUFE', YOU SPOKE WITH WISDOM, FAITHFUL INSTRUCTION, AND ENCOURAGEMENT EVEN AMIDST THE MOST DIFFICULT AND MOST TURBULENT CHALLENGES

YOU WATCHED OVER THE AFFAIRS OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD, YOU WERE NEVER IDLE NOR TOO BUSY TO CARE FOR OTHERS THAN YOURSELF. OUR CHILDREN LOVED AND STILL LOVE YOU SO DEARLY. 'MANY MEN DO NOBLE THINGS BUT YOU SURPASSED THEM ALL'

CHARM IS DECEPTIVE, AND BEAUTY IS FLEEING; YOU HAVE TAUGHT ME WHAT IT MEANS TO WORSHIP THE LORD; IN AWE. YOU DESCRIBED GOD WITH HYMNS; YOUR DESCRIBED HEAVEN ACCORDING TO THE WORD

YOU HAVE EARNED MANY REWARDS, BUT YOU ASKED FOR NOTHING BUT THAT ALL COME TO KNOW CHRIST AND SEE THE ABUNDANT GLORY OF GOD. YOUR WORKS, ACTIONS, AND ALL YOU HAVE TOUCHED PRAISE AND APPRECIATE YOU THIS DAY

YOU DIDN'T CARE ABOUT MATERIAL THINGS, BUT FOR THE DEEP SPIRITUAL MATTERS, AND THE SALVATION OF OTHERS. I WILL CARRY ON YOUR DREAMS BY HIS GRACE. YOU HAVE TOUCHED DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN MANY DIVERSE WAYS. AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY YOU HAD, YOU TRIED TO SHARE, BUILD AND NURTURE EVERYONE'S FAITH AND CONFIDENCE IN THE LORD. WE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. RATHER THAN FORGET THE SEED YOU HAVE SOWN, WE WILL WATER THEM

I AM VERY GRATEFUL TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT THE LORD HAS USED. GOD BLESS YOU AND ELEVATE YOU IN JESUS NAME

SLEEP ON AND GOODNIGHT MY SWEETHEART, I HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE RESURRECTION MORNING.SUN RE O, MY JEWEL OF INESTIMABLE VALUE AND MY RARE GEM. GOD BE WITH YOU TILL WE MEET AGAIN.

Well,so much to say about my Father but little is what I can write, the memories we shared and all that.....

Alright, where do we start from,he was born in Odo otin area of Okuku at Osun State.Didnt know much about his Growing up,anyway, but I sure did met his mother before she died and it always fun when she lived with us.I remembered then , anytime my Father was to beat me for any act of indiscipline, mama Deborah Ogunsina/Ogungboye will always shout,BABA TOLUWASE,Fi omo mi sile ooooo,wa no mi,(Meaning,Toluwase's Dad leave my daughter alone and come and beat me instead.....lol,it was always a drama between those two,so I knew well,he had had a good childhood. He had a sister also. His mom married again after she lost her first hubby ,who is Mr.Ogunsina, then remarried to Mr.Ogungboye, leaving my dad with step Brothers who are 3 in number.

One out of the 3 step Brothers is gone to be with the Lord also ,2 left and I pray that God keep them safe.Amen

Now my Father got married to my mom, after they met at His First step brother's house at Ilorin, then he visited her once in a while in Jos where she served and then they just knew that they were ready to belong to each other ,then got married in 1989,Feb 10 which was also his birthday, hmmmmm.

Guess what, they had me,9 months after exactly, how that happened was a mystery.

Anyway.......we will hear the rest of the gist later.......sit back, relax until the next rememberance of my dad.....Baba oooooo
