Mom it is hard too believe that one year has passed

On The Anniversary of the Day You Went Away

Today's the anniversary of the day we loss you,
And for a time it felt as though our lives had ended too

But loss has taught us many things
And now we face each day,
With hope and happy memories
to help us on our way

And though we are filled with sadness
That you're no longer here,
Your influence still guides us
And we still feel you near

What we shared will never die
It will always live within our heart
Bringing strength and comfort
While we are apart

Love You Mom!

I met Joyce and Joe when I went to the Home to visit my dear husband. I sure do wish I had known Joyce before she became ill. Her beauty was apparent in so many ways .  I believe Joyce and Joe's love was certainly a "GIFT FROM G-D. Joyce, you will live on forever through the memories you left with everyone.

Joe, Susan & Gary, Richard & Robin, and Steven, I was so sad to learn of Joyce's Passing. I remember being a kid over your house Susan and your mom always made us homemade Cookies. My mom worked so she was never there to greet us off the bus so I remember thinking wow your Mom is awesome! She was a Great Lady and will be missed by all who knew her. Joe I remember how close you and Joyce were even back when I was a kid. I hope you find some peace until you are reunited again. Love Christine & Family (Middleton family)

The moment that you died : My heart was torn in two
One side filled with heartache : The other died with you

I often lie awake at night : When the world is fast asleep : and
Take a walk down memory lane : With tears upon my cheeks

Remembering you is easy : I do it everyday
But missing you is heartache : That never goes away

I hold you tightly with my heart : and there you will remain
Until the joyous day arrives : That we will meet again

Joyce, I love you and miss you.

Joyce,
You were such a loving, warm, caring and a beautiful woman. You loved to laugh and had a million dollar smile. You were the best wife to such a wonderful husband Joe, and a very special mother to Rick, Steven and Susan. I have such fond memories of you visiting and our many phone conversations.

You were a very special woman, and will live in the hearts of your family and friends forever.

We will meet again someday.

My dearest Aunt Joyce,

How I will miss our long conversations and treasure the stories about my grandparents and a time long passed.

You were so proud of your children, grandchidlren, great grandchildren and delighted in telling me about them.

How can I forget the "look" you would give Uncle Joe when he teased you with love in his heart and a twinkle in his eye.

I remember being so dazzled as a little girl when my grandparents would show me your prom gowns. Maybe someday I would be a "Princess" like my Aunt Joyce.

The last few years became so difficult for you but cruises and trips to Texas were a must.

You never gave up but just marched on.

I will miss you but feel so blessed to have had you in my life and memory forever.

Your loving niece,

Janet

"Joyce was my mother in law, my mother, my friend. I met her in 2002 and never have I had someone impact my life the way she did. The closeness of this family, the unconditional love that this family has, how she accepted me with no expectations or terms. I am sad in my heart to lose her but rejoice in her life and that she is now free of her crippled body and with all of her family looking down upon us and smiling because she taught us all to be strong and move on. I will celebrate her life not mourn her loss, she wouldn't want us crying. I love you Joyce, thank you for embracing me and giving me your wonderful family to be a part of. I love you."

My mother was a wonderful woman. She embodied all of the attributes of a perfect mom. She was caring, thoughtful, compassionate, loving and so much more.It is so difficult to think of all of the words that described my mother as a person and how much she meant to me. Mom I love you!

Annoying

August 4, 2014

Joyce couldnt go a day without reminding Joe that he was "Annoying". This followed him everywhere. Of course we laugh about it and it was always a source of laughter but in her heart of hearts she cherished him and her family. Since I became a part of this family I have grown and changed for the better. I will miss her every day as I do my own mom who passed two years ago this month. But because this family is close we will all overcome the grief and celebrate the woman we knew. I love you Joyce and I will miss our two hour phone conversations, our lunches, our talks. I hope my mom and everyone has welcomed you to your new journey and I will see you again one day.
