Juanita Callihan Howard, 86, a longtime resident of Harnett County passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Green Leaf Care Center in Lillington.

A native of Warren County, the daughter of the late Wiley Callihan and Ina Freeman. She was a retired registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Rev. Earl W. Howard.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by Rev. Keith Williams and Rev. Mark Howard. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Surviving are three daughters; Susan H. Bettini (Rick) of Gibsonville, Cindy H. Slaughter (Bob) of Mt. Olive, Amy H. Hovermale of Angier, two sons; Bill Howard of Columbia, S.C., Tim Howard (Lynn) of Angier, a brother, Aaron Callihan of Farmville, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will follow the Graveside service in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
