Meeting Jun and future

July 18, 2014

I came to know Jun in 2nd year high school with another buddy Brian Blasabas. Amazing how three of us easily got caught up. Looks like alternately seated did not work! Jun has always been a silent company and knowing he was a few years older I completely understood. What I meant is he's more behaved than anyone of us LOL! He, Brian and I became closer easily and one of those days that we exchange trips to have lunch at somebody's house. When you invite friends to your house, for us that is something that we enjoyed and understood that it was not just about wanting a company but putting yourself in somebody's shoes - knowing each man's story...and that's forever etched in the hearts of good friends.

Knowing I was a rock n' roll kind of guy, Jun introduced me to a room of hard rock live shows and local live bands perform downtown called "TimeSquare" and "Gaw". Funny we went to TimeSquare one afternoon with everyone having a bottle of beer and there was me with just pure soda! Crap!! Silly me but you know I am not much of a drinker even now.

Going back to school, now I learned a new trick from Jun. Here's this cute china girl from the other room I noticed Jun and some of his friends just easily say "Hi" to which was responded the same, without hesitation, with a smile that will make you gasp and say "wow, that easy huh?" A few times I observed and I guessed I thought probably I'd try say the same "Hi" and was surprised to get the same response! Then I met my future wife Katy.

It sucks to see a good friend after a looong time in a hospital and worse things happen in the most unexpected way. — feeling sorry.

You always stood out of all people by your cute character and your big heart, those of us who got to know you were very lucky for having crossed paths with you, you now have God by your side.

Our thoughts and prayers to the estranged loved ones. Jun Loreto Jr Judaya, where you are right now we all know it is a higher place where no sickness can afflict no more. You will always be in our hearts.

RIP dear friend.
