Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Francis and Frances King Leccese. She had been a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Brooklyn, N.Y., and most recently St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. She was a graduate of the Fashion Institute and she worked until she was 65 and after retirement she decided to go back to work at the Valley Community Library.

Surviving are sons, Gino Leccese and wife, Tina, Dickson City, with whom she resided; and Joseph Pellegrino, Florida; and a daughter, Frances Pellegrino, Bennett, Alabama; grandchildren, Gino, Angelina, Rebecca, Samantha, Marc and Caela; great-grandchildren, Lana, Giada and Lydia; two sisters, Patricia Gervais, Rhode Island; and Aurella Dicecco, Rhode Island; a brother, Kenneth Leccese and wife, Katherine; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by several brothers.

There will be no public calling hours. Services will be held in Brooklyn, N.Y. on March 12, 2016. Local arrangements are by the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City. To leave an online condolence, visit the funeral home website
