A beautiful and radiant soul was lost July 11, 2015, with the sudden passing of Julie Denise Harris-Mercer of McLouth, Kansas. An avid animal lover, Julie was a bright light among us, intelligent, kind spirited and everyone's best friend. Julie was born August 13, 1973 in Merriam, Kansas, and was raised in the Kansas City Metro area, where she accumulated a lifetime of friends. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Acklin Harris and her grandparents. Among a host of other friends and loved ones, Julie is survived by her mother, Deborah Tinberg-Goldenbird, her children, Gabriel Sowell, Valencia Mercer, Greyson Mercer, sister, Gina Wilson, niece, Michaela Cross, stepsisters Heidi Aldich and Heather Tregnago. Memorial service and Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 25, at Lenexa Baptist Church in Lenexa, Kansas. Memorial Service begins at 12:30 p.m. with the Celebration of Life immediately following at 1 p.m.
