DO I REMEMBER??!! I was in a rehab center recovering from a knee replacement. I was finished with my exercises so I was making plans to go home to take care of Julie, who'd had her collarbone reset. On June 1, I had my brother, sister-in-law, and older sister show up in my room. I hadn't seen my brother in quite a while, so I hugged him, saying "Oh, Rodney, I'm SO glad to see you". The thing is, I could feel his chin quiver, so I knew something was wrong. I pulled away and he said "Jenni, Julie passed away last night." If I didn't still feel her with me, I wouldn't have made it through the first year without her-let alone nine!!!
