Kani babe, the PEACE MAKER, you left us 7 years today and it feels like an hour ago. There's no day we don't mention your name in our discussions. We will say Kebi did this or if Kebi were to be here now she will give the best advice. We always turn to you for your spiritual advice that works like magic but we are missing that.

It's still hard to believe you are gone but believing you are with your creator praying for us your siblings and the whole world as we remember you in our prayers each day. Please keep praying for us as we are doing the same for you and all the faithful that have departed. Eternal rest grant unto you Kanebi, Oh Lord , and let Perpetual Light Shine Upon you, may you continue to rest in perfect peace nwannem, amen. It is well with your soul.

My aunty my aunty, when we all were much younger we gave all of you names, yours was mama nowayo( mama quiet ) because you where the one we looked as the cool aunty that let us get away with anything and never bother us at all we always get YES!! YES!! YES!! From you. I miss you to the bone, I still feel I will wake up and see all this as a dream that I can laugh over and call a bad dream. But at the end I smile with tears and say God knows best because am sure you’re with him above and can proudly say I now have a saint in the family watching over me. I love you aunty and miss you very much. “REST IN THE LORD” FROM AKOLISA EJIMAKOR

The news of your demise came to me as a very big shock. You joined your creator rather too early but He had His reasons for calling you home this early. KANEBI’S EXIT – LIKE A CANDLE IN THE WIND.

Like a candle in the wind would blow away, you have quietly passed away, leaving tears to flow freely, leaving behind dear families and friends to grieve.
The shocking news of your exit dear Kanebi, pierced hearts like a pearl of thunder and will no doubt leave scares.
To us, rather too soon it is! – Our thoughts, being mere mortals of course.
Who can question HIS decision?
Does HE make mistakes?
Was HE also shocked like we are, at your exit?
Is HE also mourning your exit like we are doing?
God surely has a reason for doing what HE did, for HE surely does not make a mistake.
What can we do? The author and creator of life has done what HE willed; no man questions HIM.
Kanebi, the testimonies of your kind heart which abound at your passing away, is our consolation. Truly, it is not how far one lives that matters, but how well.
You selflessly put smiles on the faces of the needy especially and where there were discords, you planted the seed of peace. - You touched lives positively among other virtues, as if you saw your glorious home call coming.
We beseech God Almighty to grant your good soul eternal rest in HIS bosom.
To you Kanebi’s family, my good friends, you will not mourn like ones without faith, only be fervent in your prayers for the repose of her gentle soul and emulate her Christian virtues.
As we weep here on earth for kanebi’s exit, the choirs of angels in heaven are sounding melodies, for what is their own has come back to them after the sojourn on earth.

May her soul rest in peace. Amen!

Kanebi, Kebi, Ebi nwe ula, kanwannunu, you were a rare gem, an epitome of what a Godly human being should be.

You were a peace maker. You never supported anyone saying a bad word about any fellow human being, you would rather say, "pray for the person" You were loyal, trustworthy, talented, intelligent and above all, you knew God. You brought peace and love anywhere you went.

You went like the wind but as believers we thank God for your short live because you enjoyed live. You were a bubbling personality.Your smile was always contagious.

Our consolation is that you are resting in the Lord. May your kind hearted soul continue resting in the bosom of the Lord till we meet again.

Ebi nwe ula as we all called you, adieu.

The sudden announcement of your home call by the Lord on 17th of January 2016 threw all of us who knew you closely into great shock and grief. You were an early star, you shown brightest.
Your simplicity, humility amiable disposition endured you to all and sundry. Hardly did you exchange words, hardly did you argue. You were peace loving and compromising lady.
A wonderful friend, self sacrificing and caring.

Dear Kanebi
We are heart broken to hear of your sudden death. A time like this, we wonder why good people go only too soon, they have only a short time to leave their footprints in the sand of time. You are so humble and pleasant, no wonder you are so loved, adored and admired by all your Siblings. We are so glad to have had the pleasure of knowing you. Your sudden death has made us to reevaluate our lives and we think, all is vanity. You died in the Lord, Blessed are those who die in the Lord for they shall inherit the Kingdom of God. We pray our God almighty in his infinite goodness and mercy to comfort your lovely sweet Mum and all your lovely Siblings.

You will be missed

Adieu Kanebi - Rest in your Saviour's Bosom

Dear Kebi,
I believe that we live because we die. We say that the hour of death cannot be forecast, but when we say this, we imagine that hour as placed in an obscure and distant future. Kanebi, your death left me confused and speechless, but reminded me to pursue my time here on earth at full speed. That we must not let fears dictate how we live. That we must strive to live life with compassion and let our souls do the speaking. You lived an exemplary life, my friend. Though it is difficult for me to make sense of your death, I already know that you are resting in the bosom of the Lord. Adieu, my friend. Till we meet to part no more.
Love you lots!

Dear Kanebi,

The news of your demise came as an utter shock to us. We couldn’t make any sense of it, you were taken too soon. I remember you with fondness as a young girl, your tenderness, shyness and sweetness is still fresh in my mind.

Though I didn’t see you for a long time, I asked of you often. When I met Obumneke last summer here in USA, she showed me pictures of you and the rest of the family.

Words alone cannot fully describe the pain we feel, but our only comfort is that you are now in the bosom of the Lord.

As we mourn your loss, we pray to God to grant your soul eternal peace and grant the rest of the family the serenity and peace to get through this.

Rest in peace until we meet to part no more.
