Karen was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and cooking. She was a fantastic cook and she was a very caring person. She had three children, two sons Michael VanHamlin, Richard Mullenix III and a daughter Michelle Mullenix-Eberle. She also has nine grandchildren, McKenzie VanHamlin, Vanessa VanHamlin, Jaxson VanHamlin, Allyson Mullenix, Noah Mullenix,Colton Mullenix, Madison Chaney, Lilly Chaney and Elise Eberle.   

She was born in Flint, Michigan and her parents were John and Dorothy VanHamlin. Karen had 9 brothers and sisters, Skip VanHamlin, Bill VanHamlin, Dan VanHamlin, Rob VanHamlin, Frank VanHamlin, Mary VanHamlin, Laura VanHamlin, Joseph VanHamlin. They attended St. Mary's of Flint high school and resided in Flint, Michigan.     


Karen was proceeded in death by mother Dororthy, father John, sister Laura, brother Joseph and nephew Keith. We all truly miss all of them and they will be remembered in our hearts everyday.
