Karen born in Nashville,Tennessee at Vanderbilt University Hospital by Dr Frank Boehme to Gloria Thompson Gutierrez may 9th 1975,weighed 6 lbs 7 oz 18 inches long. Had a head full of thick redish blonde hair and blue eyes. Father Daniel Wayne Stewart ,where she got her middle name danyel. She was a beautiful perfect healthy baby. She was a joy in my life and filled my heart with love n joy.shewas always a chunky little girl growing up and was always self conscious of being overweight. It was always a struggle for her. She went thru many challenges growing up as she lived with grandparents Doyle n Gertrude Thompson to foster care with John n Rochelle fuller. Life was not easy as a single mom and Karen at 9 yrs old along with her sisters Rebecca 3 and rachel 9 months old lived in foster care for several yrs before returning home to me in Appleton Wisconsin when she was 12 yrs old. Her life changed in so many directions in those first 12 yrs. She became a strong young woman graduated new London high school in new London Wi in 1992. She worked for WalMart setting up new WalMart stores. Then she moved out on her own back to Tenn. And lived with her uncle mike Thompson till she married Bryan Willis in 1994 . She had 3 children by Bryan first Christopher,then Zachary and Austin . She worked cleaning offices and worked for the Methodist publishing corporate. She later divorced Bryan and remarried George Schneider in 2004 George adopted the boys giving them his last name. They moved several times being that George was Military Sargent in the Army. She moved to Chapman,ks then Fargo,ND then to Oahu,Hawaii (Wahiawa) and back to ,(Leavenworth,ks). Karen was struggling with her marriage and self identity over the past few yrs as George was deployed alot and left her alone for long periods of time. She was Hospitalized in Hawaii for severe depression n anxiety. She was suicidal in 2010 in Hawaii. I spent much time with trying to help her and stayed a month there which helped her tremendously.we traveled all over the island exploring every inch of it.walked the many beaches there. Met her friends' she had so many that loved her. She loved her friends and their children which Karen babysat many of them. She loved the babies and kids. Karen had 2 cats tigger n Taylor and she got a puupy in Hawaii and named him Odie. She loved odie so much and he now resides with me. Her cats both passed away during the summer of 2015. But we had wonderful memories from Hawaii and yet Karen struggled to like herself and was fighting herself to lose weight and rebuild her marriage.George filed for divorce in 2014 which was a devastating blow to her self image. Karen moved home in june 2014 where she was hospitalized 4 times for suicidal attempts was under psychological care until she became at peace from her last attempt that she succeeded in finding peace in the hospital she was born in (may 1975)she passed away in on Jan 20,2016. She will be forever missed n loved by her family n friends. Love you angel, Mom,Natalie,Rebecca and Rachel.
