To David And family. truly sorry to hear about the passing of Faye. she was a hard working and nice lady. i am sure she will be missed by a lot of people. I know she loved her husband and kids a lot also.
Karen Faye Powell Jones, 57, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Wednesday, January 1st, 2014 at her home.
A native of Durham County the daughter of the late Albert Kernice and Lille Mae Philips Powell. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a healthcare provider.
A celebration of her life will be held at Cornerstone Community Church on Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.
Surviving are her husband David W. Jones of twenty-seven years, of the home, children; Tynsha, Crystal, Chris, Jamie all of Granville County, a sister, Peggy Powell of Harnett County, a brother, Albert Powell, Jr. of Durham, seven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise and a grandson Christopher.
Memorials can be made to Duke Hospice.
