Her Life

The Legacy Continues

May 27, 2016

Her legacy continues through her birth children: Angela (Travis), Jason (Tiana), Inga (Travis), Denis (Roxy) & Israel (Shannon); her many adopted children; 17 grandchildren; 2.5 great-grandchildren; her siblings Vera (Monte) Luraas, Shari (Dan) Anderson; the Cesarano/Singer Clan of Washington; and all her kindred earned along the way.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Ken and Bobbie; siblings Kenny, Chris and Nicki; and non-human companions Laddie, Ivan and Rowdy.

Kathy was born in Finlay, Ohio on Nov. 3, 1957, raised on the highway and called Montana home. A gardener and arborist, she established Tree Amigos Tree Service in 1989 while earning her associate's degree in Paralegal Studies and her doctorate in Domestic Engineering.

Kathy loved music and prepared every meal with a song. She was an accomplished cook who, if absent from HER kitchen, was in her garden or picking fruits and flowers along mountain trails and streams. A born Samaritan, she left her home (and fridge) open to all in need. A passionate suffragist, she volunteered every election year.

Kathy was a constant optimist who credited her blessings to the grace of God, for who she held unyielding faith. Her memorial will be held at Giant Springs on Thurs., May 26 @ 1 pm.
